   Move the app to Applications and open it

   Open the downloaded file and drag 20-20-20 for Mac into your Applications folder, then double-click it. macOS will show a warning. Click Done (not Move to Trash).

   Open System Settings and allow the app

   Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down to the Security section, and click Open Anyway next to "20-20-20 for Mac".

   Confirm with Open Anyway

   A final prompt appears. Click Open Anyway, then enter your Mac password or use Touch ID. You only do this once.

   Find it in your menu bar

   Look for the eye icon at the top right of your screen. Click it to pause, take a break now, or reset the timer. There is no Dock icon by design.
